Our signature BIG event is back at Flashpoint Bristol! With categories for Youth, Junior, Para, Vets & Open, plus showcase finals for both Kids and Open competitors, BOFF! is for everyone. Expect incredible vibes, climbers from across the country, first-timers giving comps a go, and next-level blocs that will push the limits.
Alongside the climbing, you’ll find gear demos, merch stalls, food and drink, and loads of chances to win prizes — with £500 cash up for grabs for the Open winners!
Youth (7–11, Male/Female) – Qualifiers (25 boulders), Finals (3 blocs, 5 finalists)
Junior (12–15, Male/Female) – Qualifiers (25 boulders), Finals (3 blocs, 5 finalists)
Open (14+, Male/Female) – Qualifiers (25 boulders), Finals (3 blocs, 6 finalists)
Para (14+, Male/Female) – Qualifiers (25 boulders), podium only
Vets (45+, Male/Female) – Qualifiers (25 boulders), podium only
Note: All Open entrants must be signed off to climb unsupervised prior to the event.

Kids (7+): We will have a temporary registration form that will allow children to climb in the centre without a designated supervising adult on the day of the comp only, as we will have staff in each area of the building to supervise.
Adults (14+ for the Open category): Please ensure you are signed up to climb with us before the Comp to make the check-in process as quick as possible.
Getting here: We are easy to get to, a short walk from Temple Meads and lots of bus stops. Link to Google Maps: Here
Parking: We only have 50 parking spaces including 3 disabled spaces, there is some off street parking too!
Lockers: We have free to use cage lockers close to reception. These require a padlock, bring your own or purchase at reception. However, we do not take responsibility for your valuables.
Disabled access: There is “step-free” access to the reception and ground floor, The Cafe is accessed by stairs, though we can bring orders down. The majority of the climbing is all on the ground floor, apart from one mezzanine level that will have a few comp problems set on.
